Llamado a Navegadores Comunitarios: Transferencia del Pueblo de Madison

MADISON, WI – La campaña de divulgación "puerta por puerta" comenzará este verano para educar a los residentes del Pueblo de Madison sobre su próximo vínculo con la ciudad de Madison y la ciudad de Fitchburg. La aplicación para convertirse en un Navegador Comunitario ya está abierta.

La Ciudad de Madison absorberá el Pueblo de Madison el 31 de octubre de 2022. El equipo de comunicaciones para el proceso de vinculación quiere contratar Navegadores Comunitarios para conectarse con los residentes, dueños de negocios y propiedades del Pueblo de Madison, especialmente las comunidades que no hablan inglés.

Según el censo de 2010, el 32 por ciento de esta población habla inglés con fluidez. La gran mayoría de los que no hablan inglés son hispanos o latinos, seguidos de los residentes que hablan mandarín y tibetano.

Call to Community Navigators: Transfer of the Town of Madison

The door-to-door outreach campaign will begin this summer to educate residents of the Town of Madison about their upcoming ties to the City of Madison and the City of Fitchburg. The application to become a Community Browser is now open.

The City of Madison will absorb the Town of Madison on October 31, 2022. The communications team for the linking process wants to hire Community Browsers to connect with the residents, business owners and property owners of the Town of Madison, especially non-English speaking communities.

According to the 2010 census, 32 percent of this population is fluent in English. The vast majority of those who do not speak English are Hispanic or Latino, followed by mandarin and tibetan speakers.
