4502 Milwaukee St family shelter proposal

Last week's virtual neighborhood meeting to hear about the Salvation Army's proposal for a temporary family shelter at 4502 Milwaukee Street was well attended. You can watch a recording of the meeting here and find the presentation materials here.

Dempsey/Davies/Maher reconstruction

On Monday, city staff presented their initial design alternatives at a virtual neighborhood meeting and heard feeback from neighbors. Primary concerns were regarding the loss of trees, project cost, and the impact of construction during COVID. Staff is working on updating the design alternatives and will share out those updated designs for additional feedback in the future. You can find the presentation materials posted to the project website here. There will also be a discussion at Monday's LENA meeting for anyone interested (details below).
