redistricting map
The Ad Hoc Redistricting Committee recommended alternative 7a at their last meeting. Current D15 boundary is shown above in brown, new proposed boundaries for 7a are outlined in black. Under this proposal, D15 residents living in the Glendale, Lake Edge, and Eastmorland neighborhoods would continue to be in D15 while those living in Hiestand Park, Burke Heights, and Ridgewood would become part of D3 (Alder Lemmer) and Hawthorne, Carpenter-Ridgeway, and Truax neighbors would become part of D12 (Alder Abbas). The rest of Glendale, Worthington Park, and most of the SASY neighborhood would be added within the new D15 boundary. You can find detailed maps here. The committee meets again on Monday and Thursday of this week before a final proposal goes to the Common Council.
