New Library Services, Food Scrap Drop-off - D15 Update 5/4/20

Eastmorland Art Walk: Thanks to everyone that signed up for the Eastmorland Art Walk. We ended up with 20 locations on pretty short notice. Something tells me there's interest to do something like this again soon..

Buckeye Road: The final stage of the Buckeye Road project started back up last week and the road closure is expected to last until May 15. Click here for more details.

Woodman's Gas/Lube/Car Wash/Parking Lot: On Wednesday, UDC recommended approval of the proposal to demolish the existing gas/lube/car wash and restaurant and construct a new gas/lube/car wash with parking lot improvements. The project will head to the Plan Commission before hitting the Common Council for final approval. You can see detailed plans for the project here.

Alcohol License Review Committee: ALRC took up two D15 requests last week and voted to deny the request by Visions to change their licensed premises to include private dance booths. The ALRC voted to approve a request by Crucible to change their capacity number. Both of these recommendations will be on the Common Council agenda on Tuesday for a final vote.

Transportation Policy & Planning Board: On Monday, the TPPB will take up several items of interest including Adopting the Oscar Mayer Special Area Plan & Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter into a project agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and other project partners to construct an interchange at USH 12/18 and County AB.
