Public Works and Transportation Special Session Regarding the Proposed Waste & Renewable's Sustainability Campus

Greetings friends and neighbors,

Members of Dane County's Public Works & Transportation Committee will be hosting a public information meeting next week to discuss a proposal to create a Waste & Renewables Sustainability Campus, also referred to as the new landfill. 

What: Special Session - Public Informational Meeting on Waste & Renewable's Sustainability Campus

When: Tuesday December 7, 2021 5:30pm

Meeting Agenda 

Questions can be submitted prior to the meeting and questions submitted during the meeting will be accepted via the Q&A feature in Zoom. Please send any advance questions to: Waste.Renewables@countyofdane.com and feel free to cc me in these communications. 

I am hoping that residents interested in environmental sustainability efforts as well as those who live in close proximity to the proposed area will be able to attend. I believe the meeting will be recorded. If so, I will make sure to share the link to the recording, when available. 

I will only be able to attend the first hour of this meeting as the Common Council meets the same date beginning at 6:30pm. It is my intent to host at least 1 additional meeting (and more if necessary) with neighboring communities, City and County staff and will be in touch with more information if I am successful!
