Madison Public Library to hosst Wisconsin Book Festival:)

Madison Public Library is gearing up to host this year's Wisconsin Book Festival, featuring more than 60 author events over four days in and around the Central Library in downtown Madison.  The event offers plenty of opportunities to meet authors, discover new books or favorite writers, and have books signed, and draws an attendance of approximately 10,000 over the four day festival.


This year's lineup includes:

2013 Pulitzer Prize winner for Fiction Adam Johnson for Fortune Smiles
New York Times Bestselling author of Reading Lolita in Tehran Azar Nafisi for The Republic of Imagination
Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer David Maraniss for Once In a Great City 
The New Yorker copy editor Mary Norris for Between You and Me
Wisconsin's own master storyteller  Nickolas Butler for Beneath the Bonfire
Caldecott medalist and beloved children's book author Kevin Henkes for Waiting
Acclaimed journalist Evan Thomas for Being Nixon
Former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich for Saving Capitalism
National Book Award winner Timothy Egan for The Big Burn
2015-16 Wisconsin Poet Laureate Kimberly Blaeser

The Wisconsin Book Festival is hosted by Madison Public Library in partnership with the Madison Public Library Foundation. Festival sponsors make this event possible through their private support. 2015 Wisconsin Book Festival sponsors include: Alliant Energy Foundation, American Girl Fund for Children, Beyond the Page, Cheryl Rosen Weston, Cricket Design Works, Evjue Foundation, Friends of University of Wisconsin Libraries, Great Dane Pub & Brewing, Isthmus, Nimick Forbesway Foundation, Pleasant T.
