City of Madison Public Meeting: Madison Police Department Proposal for Body Worn Camera Pilot Program

The Madison Police Department will be hosting an official public meeting (in satisfaction of the Surveillance Ordinance) next week to share our proposal for the body worn camera pilot program.  The meeting is set for March 10th, 2022 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm.  I have attached a PDF of the meeting notice that has already been posted to Legistar, but you can also view it here:

This meeting will be conducted via Zoom next week.  Attendees will have the opportunity to make a statement at the meeting or they can prepare and email written statements to the MPD via MPDPIO@cityofmadison.com as well.  Public comment will be limited to three (3) minutes per speaker and will be recorded.
