The important dates for running for Council are:

December 1, 2018

First day to circulate nomination papers.

January 2, 2019

All papers and forms due in City Clerk's Office

February 19, 2019

Spring Primary, if more than 2 candidates are running.

April 2, 2019

Spring Election.

If you are interested in running in the 19th Aldermanic District, please reach out at district19@cityofmadison.com. I'm happy to provide helpful information. In addition, there are several meetings I'll be attending in November (budget, neighborhood, etc) that I'd like to invite you to as my guest so you can learn more about the job and our District.
