Proposed Redevelopment of 5237 and 5133 University Avenue Update and Presentation

Thank you to all those who came out for the neighborhood meeting on the proposed Redevelopment of 5237 and 5133 University Avenue (formerly Perkins). 

I wanted to provide a proposed scheduling update from the developer and share the presentation from that evening.

October 23, 2019 Presentation to Spring Harbor Neighborhood
October 30, 2019 30-Day Notification to Alder of Land Use Submittal
December 2019 Combined Application to City of Madison (Land Use, Conditional Use, Urban Design Commission, Certified Survey Map)
February 2020  Urban Design Commission (UDC) Presentation - Initial Approval Request
February 2020  Plan Commission Presentation & Approval Request
March 2020 Common Council - Certified Survey Map? (CSM) Approval by Resolution
March 2020 UDC Presentation - Final Approval Request
March 2020 - May 2020 Site Plan Verification, Zoning and Building Permit Approvals
May 2020 Demolition and Construction Start
July 2021 Construction Completion and Occupancy
