Proposed Redevelopment of Madison Yards at Hill Farms Project Block 1 (Former WIDOT site) Presentation

January 8, 2021 2:55 PM

Madison Yards Block 1 Render

I'd like to apologize that the blog and postcard notices for Wednesday's proposed development meeting for Madison Yards at Hill Farms incorrectly stated which block was going to be talked about. The meeting talked about Block 1, not Block 2.

For those you who couldn't attend Wednesday's virtual meeting, here is a copy of the presentation given by the development team. You can also watch a video recording of the meeting on the City's City Channel.

The project is proposed to contain 160,000 square feet of office space, 15,000 square feet of restaurants and entertainment, 80 residential units and structured parking.

Next steps in the process:

Land Use -Specific Implementation Plan (SIP) Approval

  • Application Submission –2/3/21
  • Urban Design Commission –3/31/21
  • Planning Commission –4/12/21
  • Common Council –4/20/12

Proposed Development Schedule

  • Municipal Approvals Complete –April/May 2021
  • Construction Start –Summer 2021
  • Occupancy –Late 2022/Early 2023
