Proposed Development - Element Labs at University Research Park
On July 27th, Alder Figueroa Cole, Alder Martin and I hosted a virtual neighborhood meeting about University Research Park proposal to construct Element Lab, a new lab facility at the southwest corner of Mineral Point Road and S. Whitney Way. The proposed five-story, 145,000 square foot facility would require Conditional Use approval from the Plan Commission under the new "Traditional Employment" zoning being pursued. The conditional uses include a restaurant with outdoor seating and the building's height.
For those of you who couldn't attend the virtual meeting, here is a copy of the presentation given by the development team. You can also watch a video recording of the meeting on the City's City Channel.
Here's a shadow study provided by the developer.
