 Well 14, located at 5130 University Avenue, is the primary source of drinking water for the northern areas of District 19 (see map below):

City of Madison Water Utility Well 14, which supplies water to the University Ave corridor and Spring Harbor neighborhood, continues to show a dramatic rise in sodium and chloride levels.

The Common Council will meet in hybrid format at 6:30pm on Tuesday, October 25.

Last week the Water Utility announced detection of PFAS (Per- and Poly-fluoroalkyls) at additional wells in the City. These are very, very low level detections – many are at levels too low to accurately quantify.

Water Outage Tuesday Evening on West Side

I hear that the water service has been restored. If you still have no water and you can't reach the water utility emergency number (266-4665) please call me at 695-5709. Thanks again for your patience.

There is currently a widespread problem in the Spring Harbor area with no water or low pressure. There is no need to call; crews are already working on the problem (and the emergency line is overwhelmed anyway). Thank you for your patience.
