Remodeling of Fire Station 2 on Grand Canyon Drive is underway!
Thanks to the advocacy of many of you, the badly-needed refurbishment of Station 2 is in progress today rather than being postponed until next year.
The ramp from eastbound Old Middleton Road on to University Avenue will be closed for two weeks starting Monday, July 23. The detour is Whitney Way, however, I would recommend avoiding Old Middleton entirely if you can. I expect this closure to cause long backups during morning rush.
