The week of August 3 has items of possible interest to residents of district 2 at a Neighborhood Meeting about a Development Proposal for 119-125 Butler, the Common Council, the Madison Food Policy Council, the Madison Area Transportation Planning Board and the Local Food Committee. The city meeting agenda items are open for testimony from the public should you be interested in weighing in.  I also appreciate hearing from you on any items on which you have a particular interest or concern so please send me an email or give me a call.

Also, committees and commissions have an opportunity at the beginning of each agenda for Public Comment on items not on the agenda.  If you have something you want to share with a committee or commission, you can use the Public Comment time to do so.


Neighborhood Meeting about a Development Proposal for 119-125 Butler St.

A neighborhood meeting will be held to hear about a development proposal for 119-125 N. Butler Street.  The homes at 123 and 125 N. Butler Street are proposed to be demolished, and a four-story building with 29 studio and 29 one-bedroom apartments is proposed to be constructed.  There would be 21 underground and six surface parking stalls and parking for about 70 bicycles.  A driveway to the underground parking would enter from N. Hancock Street.
