District 2 Updates and Meetings of Interest

The Streets Division is suspending curbside trash and recycling collection operations due to the slick road conditions. Operators had been out prior to storm, but road conditions are worsening rapidly due to the intensity of the snowfall.

Lots of important updates in this post including details on Thursday, Friday and Monday garbage pickup. I won't be doing continual updates over the next few days about the impending storm, so I recommend subscribing to get the latest and continuing winter updates from the City:

This is the final week for expanded hours at the Streets Division's drop-off sites.  This is also the final week for Madison residents to use the yard waste only drop-off site at 402 South Point Rd until it closes for the season.

Finally, Madison, the weather and the calendar both show that it’s spring.  And it’s time to get outside and reclaim our yards from winter.  Starting on Monday, April 3, the Streets Division will begin our curbside brush and spring yard waste collection services.
