The weather will be nice on Saturday, but you won't want to rake and pile yard waste to the curb. The yard waste collection season is over - see the important announcement from the Streets Division below.

The final round of spring yard waste collection will begin on Monday, May 6, 2019.

This is the final week for expanded hours at the Streets Division's drop-off sites.  This is also the final week for Madison residents to use the yard waste only drop-off site at 402 South Point Rd until it closes for the season.

Curbside leaf and yard waste collection for the fall of 2018 is ending.

On Saturday, November 3, the Streets Division will perform curbside yard waste collection.  Crews will be collecting leaves and other yard waste, which includes pumpkins.  Streets Division crews will be working a 10-hour shift on leaf pickup on Saturday.

Starting today, October 30, the Streets Division’s yard waste collection crews will begin working 10-hour days in order to collect more leaves and other yard waste material. 

The Streets Division will perform one more curbside yard waste collection round. Every resident in Madison will have one final opportunity to have yard waste collected from the curb this spring. The encore round will begin on Monday, May 14.  

Due to the unusual wintry start to spring, the Streets Division announces one extra yard waste pickup.

Curbside leaf and yard waste collection for the 2017 fall period has officially ended. 

On Saturday, November 25, the Streets Division will perform curbside yard waste collection.  Crews will be working a 10-hour day on November 25.

On Saturday, November 18, the Streets Division will perform curbside yard waste collection.  Crews will be working a 10-hour day on November 18.

Please see the message below from the City's Department of Public Works:

The Streets Division drop-off site located at 4602 Sycamore Ave. is now closed for pavement repairs.  The site will reopen later this year upon completion of the project.

Finally, Madison, the weather and the calendar both show that it’s spring.  And it’s time to get outside and reclaim our yards from winter.  Starting on Monday, April 3, the Streets Division will begin our curbside brush and spring yard waste collection services.
