Agenda for Thursday's Meeting on The Meadowlands

August 6, 2019 1:01 PM

Hi everyone,

Please find the agenda below for Thursday, August 8's meeting on the Meadowlands Multi-Family Residences proposal.

We will only be discussing the Meadowlands proposal.

In the interest of transparency, I want to share that I am not inclined to support the Meadowlands proposal at this time, based largely on concerns that the lack of amenities and transit at the proposed location doesn't lend this location to being ideal for a workforce housing proposal of this size. That said, I think it's important for you to have the information on this proposal and to make your own conclusions.

There is another meeting on Wednesday, August 7, to discuss The Harmony Apartments. I've re-included the information on that meeting here as well.

Thursday: Community Meeting on The Meadowlands Multi-Family Residences

This is a development proposal for 6810-6814 Milwaukee Street, 1 Wind Stone Drive, and 45 Wind Stone Drive. KCG Development, LLC proposes to construct The Meadowlands, which would consist of four multi-family buildings with a total of 216 apartments, and seven townhomes. The multi-family buildings would be three to four stories tall, and the townhomes would be two stories tall. This will be a mix of one, two and three bedroom units.
