Wednesday: Oak Park Place proposals virtual meeting

Oak Park Place intends to submit plans to the City in October to seek re-approval for two projects that were previously approved, but not built. 

One is a 12-unit townhome project at 5818 Gemini Drive that was previously approved in 2006. One is a 99-unit age restricted, senior housing multifamily development at 5817 Halley Way that was previously approved in 2015. 

Join us for a virtual neighborhood meeting to hear about these proposals, ask questions and provide your feedback. Oak Park Place representatives and city staff will all be on hand to answer your questions.

28th Annual Compost Bin Sale scheduled for October 23

The 28th annual Madison compost bin truckload sale will be held by RainReserve on October 23, 2021 at the Garver Feed Mill (3241 Garver Green). Pre-orders are now available. The location provides easy pick-up and experts will be on hand to answer questions.

Bus Rapid Transit Community Meeting - 30% Project Design

Attend a virtual meeting on Wednesday, September 29 at 6 pm.

Staff will present the 30% design drawings for the east-west MetroRAPID Red Line.

The goal is to create an equitable process to design and construct streets – including roadways, sidewalks, terrace trees, and everything in between.
