  • Meetings and Updates Week of September 18th posted September 17, 2023

This update includes information about this week's Plan Commission and Common Council meetings, including some proposed ordinance changes. There's also plenty of news in this week's update right here in District 3, including a new weekly Library Dream Bus stop at Harmony Apartments this fall (Thursdays at 5pm) open to anyone to stop by for books, an important feedback opportunity for WisDOT's North Stoughton Road Corridor Study on 9/27, a virtual public information meeting about a proposed bike course at Sycamore Park on 10/5 (registration required), and approval for four new Safe Streets Madison traffic safety improvements here in the district. I'm also including information about an expansion of the Madison CARES program to weekend service, Dane County grants for older people and those with disabilities to stay in their homes, and a bunch of events - including next Saturday's Let's Bus to the Farmer's Market event. Have a fantastic week!

  • Meetings and Updates Week of August 7th posted August 7, 2023

Good morning! This week's update includes information about City meetings of the Plan Commission, City-County Homelessness Issues Committee, Public Safety Review Committee, and Transportation Commission. I'm also highlighting two public input and information events next week that are relevant to District 3 neighborhoods: Northeast Area Planning events and a Door Creek Watershed Study public information meeting. The next few weeks are a little slower with many City committees taking a break for August, so I may group weekly events into fewer blog posts until things pick up at the end of the month. Have a good week!
