Entreprenueurship & Small Business Development Resource Fund

The City recognizes that Madison is becoming a leader in the Midwest for technology start-ups and believes that now is the time to work to address equity issues in the funding of early-stage companies owned by women and/or people of color for the purpose of job creation and economic development.

This project provides $300,000 in 2016 and $300,000 in 2017 to catalyze investment in early stage businesses.

The fund is open to all entrepreneurs and small business owners; however, there is a strong focus on technology businesses owned and operated by women and/or people of color.
