Hanson Neighborhood Development Plan Amendment

The Hanson Neighborhood Development Plan (NDP) was adopted in August 2000. The City of Madison staff are currently in the process of amending the Hanson Neighborhood Development Plan. The Amendment Area covers approximately 125 acres generally bounded by the Interstate Highway 39/90 on the East, Perennial Stream and wetlands to the West, DiLoreto Avenue to the South and Hanson Road to the North. The amended plan will provide detailed recommendations regarding land uses, transportation and public utilities and services.

A virtual public meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The meeting will include a brief staff presentation on background information, project timeline and an overview of issues to be addressed. Additionally, the meeting will provide an opportunity for residents and property owners to ask questions and provide input on issues affecting this area.
