Bayview Neighborhood's 2018 Patterns of Passage Project

The Department of Planning and Community & Economic Development, Planning Division, has a grant program designed to help neighborhoods build capacity and beautify public places. The grant program helps to improve the quality of life within neighborhoods, and the City as a whole.

Grant Program Steps

  1. Meet with your neighborhood to plan a project.
  2. Attend the Optional Grant Workshop on January 17, 6:00 p.m. at the Central Library, 201 West Mifflin Street, Room 301, Madison, WI 53703. View the workshop slideshow from 2018.
  3. Pre-application discussion with Planning Division staff.  Contact Linda Horvath at 608-267-1131 or lhorvath@cityofmadison.com.
  4. Submit your completed application.  It must arrive at the Planning Division by March 4, 2019, 4:30 p.m.  You may print, handwrite and mail, or email to Linda Horvath lhorvath@cityofmadison.com or, 215 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., P.O. Box 2985, Planning Division, Madison 53701-2985\
