Triangle Monona Bay Neighborhood Plan

The Planning Division is working with the Triangle Monona Bay Neighborhood to create a plan for a strong and complete neighborhood. The focus is on where people will live, work, shop and play as the neighborhood evolves, and how they will get around. The plan will build upon recommendations of the Greening Americas Capitals Report, Comprehensive Plan and other relevant City plans. A City-appointed Steering Committee is meeting regularly to guide plan content. Steering Committee meeting agendas, minutes and attachments are on the City's webpage.

Next Steps

Creation of a draft neighborhood plan is underway. The City Council will adopt the plan as a supplement to the City's Comprehensive Plan in spring 2019. It will include a detailed land use map; urban design guidelines and concepts (building height, unit count, massing, orientation); sustainability principles; green space recommendations; transportation concepts and circulation; and an implementation plan.
