Renovated Shelter and New Restrooms/Concessions
Following a number of public neighborhood meetings, the decision was made to renovate the existing open-air shelter (removing the current restrooms, benches and knee-wall surrounding the shelter, replacing the roof and concrete slab, adding an ADA ramp and railings, and upgrading the lighting) and to build a new restroomconcession building. Estimated project cost $950,000. A separate project to replace and enlarge the parking lot and other sitework improvements will follow.
