About Division Chief MICHAEL DIBBLE
Michael Dibble joined the Madison Fire Department in 1982. After 5 years as a firefighter, he was selected for the paramedic program. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2000, and served as the float shift supervisor from 2001 until the end of 2013.
As a Lieutenant at Station #1, Dibble served as the Lake Rescue Coordinator.
He was promoted to Division Chief in April of 2013 and currently oversees Support Services under Assistant Chief Clay Christenson. In that capacity, Dibble supervises the Fire Investigation Division, and is responsible for writing and procuring grants for the department.
