I am currently assigned to the “road” on the 'B' shift, meaning I fill vacancies across the city as needed.

The Madison Fire Department seeks community members to serve on our upcoming Firefighter/EMT interview panels. It’s our way of giving voice to the community as we seek the best possible individuals to serve our city as a member of the fire department.
The MFD is committed to helping as many people as possible learn hands-only CPR and how to use an AED. We want you to feel confident knowing what to do if you see someone in sudden cardiac arrest.
That's why we offer free hands-only CPR and AED awareness trainings for the community!
The Madison Fire Department and American Red Cross Wisconsin Region are teaming up to provide FREE home safety visits and smoke alarm installation to area homes.
On Saturday, April 15 we hope to install smoke alarms in up to 600 homes during our "Sound the Alarm" event!
