• Fire Station 13 is Open for Response Posted 06/02/2014

    Happy St. Patrick's Day! The Madison Fire and Police Departments have a thriving Scottish bagpipe and drum band: Madison Pipes and Drums.  They are a very active group in our community, playing at many different ceremonies including promotions, parades, funerals, and other events in southern Wisconsin and northeastern Iowa.   • CampHERO Kickoff! Posted 03/13/2014

    March 13, 2014 kicked off the start of CampHERO in the City of Madison.  CampHERO is an all-girls camp that educates girls and young women on non-traditional career choices in the field of public safety.  The camp was started here in the City of Madison by our female public safety responders as a way to introduce girls to careers in police, fire, and emergency medicine.  Madison College and the Girl Scouts of America are two key sponsors of the program.  CampHERO offers programs for girls of all ages, from those entering kindergarten through recent graduating seniors in high school.  Partic Read more »
