The written application is just the first step in a multi-faceted process that will take several months. Below is a general overview and timeline for this process. The dates are subject to change at any time.
Accepting Applications: October 1 - November 30, 2017
FireTEAM Test: January 3, 2018
Community Oral Board Interview: February 2018
Department Oral Board Interview: April 2018
Fire Chief's Interview: May 2018
Physical Ability Test: July 2018
Applicants who reach this stage of the process will be referred for background checks and medical evaluations.
The recruit academy is anticipated to begin in September or October 2018.
