Fire Station 2 (Grand Canyon Boulevard) on the 'C' shift.

What was your previous position?
I was a Firefighter/Paramedic at Fire Station 8 (Lien Road) on the 'B' shift.

How long have you been with MFD?
11 years.

What do you like about your station or territory?
Having worked on the east and north side previously, I'm excited to learn about and experience Station 2 and the west side. I like the wide variety of businesses and building types in Station 2's territory. I have truly enjoyed meeting the people who live in and visit the area.

Why did you want to be a driver/engineer?
Becoming a driver and learning more in-depth the ins and outs of every function and what the apparatus is capable of is something that has always interested me. Also, having the responsibility and honor to take the great crews serving the city to and from the emergencies we are called to.

What has been one of the most rewarding experiences of your career so far?
Working with my crew to help save the life of a young child, and giving them and their family a better outcome on life.
