Starting yesterday, we expanded our emergency response, code enforcement, and safety education services into the Town of Madison. Our department worked closely with City and Town officials, including Town of Madison Fire Chief David Bloom and his staff, to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of services.

Fire Station 6, on W. Badger Road, is first due to fire and medical emergencies in the Town of Madison. Station 6 is staffed 24 hours a day by a lieutenant, apparatus engineer (driver), two firefighters, and two paramedics on Ladder 6 and Medic 6. Additional support will be provided Station 14 on Dairy Drive, Station 3 on Williamson Street, and Station 7 on McKenna Boulevard.

Along with this change of service, we welcome into our ranks three firefighters from the Town of Madison. They begin an accelerated Fire Academy today as Recruit Class 10.

We are the beneficiaries of the outstanding work done by the Town of Madison Fire Department, and we are committed to upholding the high level of safety and service the Town of Madison has come to expect! We look forward to developing a strong partnership dedicated to maintaining a safe environment for residents, employees, and visitors.
