Fire Department

Engine Co. 12 was called to 7933 Tree Lane for a water leak in a trash room on the second floor. Firefighters found standing water on the first and second floors, as well as the basement. The building was evacuated and utilities were shut down to avoid electrical hazards. Property management took over mitigation and cleanup efforts. Madison Metro provided a cooling bus while occupants were evacuated, and the American Red Cross provided snacks and water. Two households are displaced at this time as a result of the water damage.
