The Open Enrollment period for 2022 health, dental, and vision coverage is Monday, Sept. 27, 2021 – 4:30 pm on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021.
Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
Beginning on September 27, your department will distribute memos to eligible employees, along with rate information for health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance.
If you do not need to make changes to your existing health, dental, or vision coverage, you do not need to take any action regarding those benefits and your coverage will continue as it was in 2021.
The memos, rate sheets, and additional information will be available on the Open Enrollment webpage as of September 27.
Benefits Information Meetings
Benefits Information Meetings will not be held in 2021.
The open enrollment period for Healthcare Flexible Spending (FSA) and Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) accounts for the 2022 plan will run from November 1, 2021-November 19, 2021. Flexible spending open enrollment materials will be distributed to eligible employees beginning on November 1, 2021.
This is your only opportunity to enroll in a FSA ($2,700.00 max per employee) or DCAP ($5,000.00 max per family; $2,500.00 max per employee if married filing separately) for the 2022 plan year - with the exception of mid-year enrollments/changes due to a qualifying status change.
Please be aware that even if you are currently enrolled in an FSA or DCAP for the 2021 plan year, you will need to complete a new Flexible Spending enrollment application if you would like to participate for 2022. FSA and DCAP elections do not carry over from year to year therefore you should review the current status of your accounts for 2022.
This is your opportunity to have pre-tax payroll deductions placed into your Flexible Spending Account to pay eligible medical expenses incurred in 2022, such as your out-of-pocket health insurance deductibles, dental expenses, and pharmacy co-payments or coinsurance. Insurance premiums are not eligible to be paid out of FSA funds.
If you have any questions about after reviewing the provided open enrollment materials, please contact Human Resources staff at (608) 266-4615 or email@example.com.
