A Joylynne Dr. homeowner awoke Sunday morning to see the shimmer of broken glass near his kitchen table. At first he though a lightbulb may have somehow broken. That was until he realized there was a bullet hole in the kitchen window and a spent bullet on the vinyl floor. An investigating officer canvassed the neighborhood. Another homeowner reported hearing animated voices outside around 2:00 a.m. Then there was a series of pops that sounded like a "Tommy-gun." The witness thought this was likely "kids" shooting off fireworks. That was until he learned what happened to his neighbor.
