A man was pulled out of a vehicle moments before it was stolen Tuesday afternoon on Madison's east side.

The 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee was parked outside a business along the 4900 block of Commercial Ave. and taken around 4:45 p.m.

The owner was inside the business while a passenger waited in the backseat of the vehicle. The passenger said a man approached the vehicle, opened the door, and pulled him out.

The passenger suffered an ankle injury.

This investigation is ongoing.
