2015: Tactical Response Instructor Transition to 700+

This transition course is for instructors who are currently certified by the Law Enforcement Standards Board (LESB) as a Tactical Response Instructor. This course is taught by a Master Instructor Trainer (MIT) who will update attendees on the new Tactical Response skills and curriculum approved by the LESB for inclusion in the 700+ hour basic law enforcement officer training academy. Tactical Response instructors must complete this course by no later than December 31, 2015, to retain Tactical Response Instructor certification.

Certified Tactical Response Instructor Status with the Law Enforcement Standards Board (LESB), AND have at least one of the following: 1) Certified Firearm Instructor Status with the LESB; 2) Certified DAAT Instructor Status with the LESB; 3) or provide proof of formal training in a tactical course such as SWAT operator, ALERRT active shooter response, etc.
