2015: Homicide Investigation Course

This comprehensive school will cover a wide variety of important topics as they relate to homicide investigations. Experienced presenters will include: medical examiners, prosecutors, detectives, forensic investigators, a retired judge and more. Case studies will be presented from those who were the lead investigators on the Zapata bodiless case, the Steven Avery case, and the Vogelsberg case . Along with case reviews, students will learn about the latest techniques to investigate: asphyxia, drowning, fire deaths, post mortem changes, cold cases and more. Experienced homicide investigators will also present strategies for organizing these complex case. This four day course is geared for those who work homicide investigations for their agency or who supervise those working homicide investigations.
