This highly inter-active course is designed for those in public safety who have regular contact with the media or who are the designated department spokesperson to the media in their jurisdiction. The course explores various media outlets, the importance of building relationships with local media and will work to enhance public speaking skills. This course will combine information, practical exercises, and class participation/evaluations. You will be prepared to work with the media during your next significant community event.
