This comprehensive course covers investigative tools for patrol and detectives investigating child maltreatment. Detailed topics will include physical/sexual, neglect of children, drug endangered children and human trafficking. There will be tips on how to interview children, investigations, obtaining records and how to interview suspects. Instruction will focus on case studies, role-play and the need to develop warning systems with schools, centers and social services in the community.
