Request for Proposal - Technology Project
Metro Transit is requesting proposals from qualified Contractors to provide, integrate, and support a comprehensive transit technology solution for the agency.
This project will implement a variety of technology solutions to help Metro Transit better plan for, manage, and report on fixed route and paratransit services operated by Metro Transit.
While this RFP includes the majority of technologies used to manage transportation for Metro Transit, in contrast to a Request for Information released in 2020, this solicitation does not include a fare system component.
It is expected that a fare solution RFP will be released later in 2021.
This project is partially funded with federal (FTA) funding and has a DBE goal of 2%.The City of Madison posts all Request for Proposals, addenda, tabulations, awards and related announcements on two distribution networks – VendorNet and DemandStar.
