three drivers in front of busMetro Transit is requesting proposals from qualified Contractors to provide On-Board Survey services to develop the plan, survey design, instruments for use in the survey work, recruitment and training of survey field personnel and survey administration and quality assurance.

This includes the collection of boarding and alighting locations, rider demographics, and other data. The survey shall include all of Metro Transit’s main-line fixed-routes (Routes 1-75) and the UW circulators (Routes 80-84).

The On-Board Survey Consultant would ideally consist of professionals who embody the City of Madison’s vision to be inclusive, innovative, and thriving. This project is partially funded with federal (FTA) and state (WisDOT) funding and has a DBE goal of 15%.

The City of Madison posts all Request for Proposals, addenda, tabulations, awards and related announcements on two distribution networks – VendorNet and DemandStar.
