Transit Network Redesign
A brand new transit network plan has been approved and will go into effect in June of 2023.
This service redesign will increase frequency of trips, reduce issues with transfers and overall make Metro's system more direct and easier to use.
It will also schedule routes around Metro’s 2024 bus rapid transit system.
Approval of Final Items
On Wednesday, November 9, Metro Transit and the City of Madison Transportation Commission held a VIRTUAL public hearing to review final items related to the redesign.
The Commission will meet again on Wednesday, November 30 to discuss and vote on items presented at the meeting.
