Building community, improving public safety through National Night Out
Join MPD at National Night Out events all across the city
MADISON, Wis. -- The Madison Police Department and other city leaders are looking to build a sense of community through National Night Out.
The nationwide movement is held every August to promote partnerships between officers and those they serve.
The Madison Police Department is hosting its family-friendly celebration this Thursday at Warner Park. Attendees will have the chance to interact with our K-9 team, mounted patrol unit, drone team and other special groups within our department as well as other community organizations.
“The best way to build a safer community is to know your neighbors. This event brings people together with the goal of improving public safety through community partnerships,” said Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes.
