Suspicious Vehicle Fire Under Investigation

Fire investigators are working with the Madison Police Department to get to the bottom of a vehicle fire that occurred in the parking lot of McDonald’s on S. Park Street.

The fire was called in by someone in the lobby of MPD's nearby South Police District on Hughes Street. Officers were on scene when Ladder Company 6 arrived and put out the fire, which evidence suggests was intentionally-set.
 
Damage was isolated to the single vehicle. Nobody was injured.
