Ice rinks, hybrids, lifeguards....what do they have in common? Madison Parks Division

Until further notice all Ice Rinks are closed due to the Extremely COLD weather.

For Weekend of Feb. 2-4, 2007 Ice Rinks - There are five outdoor ice rinks open, but all rinks have some restrictions. See below.

Ski Trails - Elver Park and Odana Golf Course trails were groomed and the tracks were set today. The lights will be on at Elver Park. Tracks were also set today at Turville Woods.

Outdoor Ice Rinks - All of the outdoor ice rinks will remain closed due to thin ice. Tenney Park is particularly dangerous with many holes and soft spots. Tenney Lagoon water is over 10 feet deep.

The City of Madison Parks Division is seeking volunteers who enjoy work outdoors to help with the on-going Cherokee Marsh Restoration project.
