South Warner Planning & Pop Up Wheel Spots

Last Updated: 09/10/2020

The south Warner Park area is ready for a re-do!

This fall and into early 2021, Parks will be seeking input from residents in the Brentwood neighborhood and surrounding community to re-imagine the area of Warner Park currently occupied by softball fields (several of which haven't been used for league play for several seasons - well before COVID).  As part of getting to know the neighbors closest to the park, Parks is working together with CORP and Madison Skatepark Fund to host a series of "pop up" wheel spots at the park on Sundays, 2-4pm (9/13 and 9/20 are the next confirmed dates).

Wheel spots are mobile ramps and challenges that can be used by bikes, scooters (think Razor-type not electric!) and skateboards for some fun, outdoor-based and appropriately distanced activity!  Pop-up means that they aren't permanent - the ramp elements and challenges will be removed following the end of the event.
