Dane County Narcotics Task Force

The Dane County Narcotics Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional law enforcement group consisting of Madison Police Department, Dane County Sheriff Office, and University of Wisconsin- Madison Police Department personnel. The Dane County Narcotics Task Force works in conjunction with state and federal agencies as well as providing support to suburban law enforcement agencies county-wide, in an effort to interdict drug trafficking. The Narcotics Task Force focus is on indentifying, disrupting, and dismantling drug trafficking organizations. The Madison Police Department has supervisors, detectives and officers assigned to the Dane County Narcotics Task Force. The Annual Task Force report is routinely completed in January and posted on the Madison Police Department website for public access.
