Details

A Madison Police Officer was on patrol when his attention was drawn to a subject sprinting in the 1800 block of East Washington Avenue.  The officer noted that the person did not have athletic type of clothing on that would have been consistent with jogging, and attempted to contact the subject.  Jordan Killerlain attempted to walk past the responding officer, and after he finally stopped, he began to fidget in his pockets.  The officer got concerned and after checking Killerlain's pockets, found what was described as a homemade sap.  The officer recovered a metal padlock that was tied off inside a white sock that Killerlain had in his possession for protection.

A strong odor of alcohol and no identification resulted in Killerlain being conveyed to The Dane County Jail on charges above.  A person did contact police and stated that Killerlain had been reckless earlier in the evening, but very few details of that account were given.
