401 West Shore Dr. (Brittingham Park)

Jack D. Dvorak, age 23, no permanent address
Suspect was arrested for Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

An active member of the Brittingham neighborhood called for police to investigate after spotting three suspicious men in the park's shelter house Sunday morning. A MPD sergeant found the trio was so focused on shooting heroin that they never saw him walk up next to them. One had a large plastic bag filled with numerous items, including electronics. He said "some guy" had given them to him. There were several GPS units in the sack. Officers discovered one was stolen from the car of a 61-year old Jenifer St. resident. It was returned. Other items were property tagged. The primary suspect indicated he is a daily heroin user. He was arrested and taken to jail. The other two men were cited and released.
