Incident Report for Case #2013-333596

Incident Type

Weapons Violation

Incident Date

10/22/2013 - 10:00 PM

3600 block Milwaukee St.

Male, age 53, no permanent address

The victim could not remember if the pushing match started over who would cook dinner or if it had more to do with a lost lighter. He also could not recall seeing a weapon, but following the entanglement he - at some point - realized he had a couple of stab type wounds to his knee. He called police.

The victim and the suspect, who could not be immediately located, live in an encampment located in some woods off of Milwaukee St.

This is the second call the MPD has had to the area in the past week.

Last Thursday, Brian K. Golden, age 52, was arrested for substantial battery after he hit a 46-year old camper in the face with a stick. Golden was asleep in his tent around 12:45 p.m. and was upset that the victim was talking loudly, waking him up. The injured man suffered a chin cut that required nearly a dozen sutures to close. At the hospital he asked where he was, and whether he had been in a car accident. His blood alcohol content registered a .304. That was a little greater than the suspect's. His registered a .30 at the county jail, and he told an arresting officer that he has been as high as a .54 in the past.

No suspect has been arrested yet in last night's fight.
