UPDATE  10/25/2013 AT 12:30PM



Christopher Swatzak has been taken into custody, without incident, by police authorities in Milwaukee Wisconsin.  The Madison Police Department is currently sending Detectives to the custody location to prepare for his return back to Madison, WI.  We will not be able to release more details until interviews are completed, and Swatzak is in secured custody.  I am told that updates will be forthcoming, but we would like to thank all who have been involved in this ordeal.  We received assistance from a variety of sources over the past few days, and understand the overall impact of a case of this nature.

Shortly after 11:30am, Madison Police responded to Our Lady Queen of Peace School, located at 418 Holly Avenue, based on information involving a family/child custody issue.  School administrators locked down the premises as a precautionary measure.  The Madison Police Department sent officers to the school and the surrounding area for extra security.   Probable cause to arrest Christopher Swatzak was subsequently developed as more information surfaced reference domestic stalking.  

Swatzak operates a Chrysler Town & Country Minivan with Wisconsin plates of 697NLZ.  Attempts to contact Swatzak are underway, and the community is asked to alert police if they have any information regarding his whereabouts.  No other details regarding the case will be released at this time, and Madison Detectives are continuing to investigate this matter.
